40 hp more – the special model is the most powerful serial Fabia
A sporty look for the Fabia: inspired by RS Rally2, the people at Skoda have released a special model – poison green, with 40 hp. more, dual-wheel drive and with lowered suspension. Sound great? Unfortunately, there is a catch magazin piese online Skoda.

Fabia leads a double life. Already in its fourth generation, the small car reliably accompanies its owners in everyday life – but there is also a Fabia RS Rally2 version. The rally variant of the model has a different suspension, dual drive and 289 hp. (no longer possible) is the best-selling car in its category and is called "Rally 2". Now Skoda combines the best of both worlds with a special model – Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition by Cohete Suárez.
Named after a company pilot
The car is named after Skoda company driver Jose Antonio 'Cochet' (rocket) Suarez. The borrowing starts with the color: poison-green, or officially "Mamba-Green". There is a black spoiler on the roof and there are hinted fender flares on the sides of the rear bumper.
The rims are appropriate - black OZ Superturismo WRC 17 inches and Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires. Thanks to the standard sports suspension, the car is closer to the asphalt by 15 millimeters. The interior has black sports seats and a sports steering wheel with paddles.
The most powerful production Fabia
The Fabia Rally2 special model is more than just a facelift. It is currently the most powerful production version of the small car. With the support of Abt, the small car's 1.5-liter TSI receives a significant increase in power: it has 40 hp. and 40 Nm more. So it has 190 hp. and 290 Nm of maximum torque. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a manual transmission; as with the regular Fabia with this engine, a seven-speed DSG transmission also takes care of gear changes in the special model as well. All four wheels are driven, as a rally-inspired model should be.
There is a catch
Skoda Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition by Cohete Suárez is limited to 100 units and costs BGN 61,500. Sounds too good to be true? In fact, there is one catch: the car will only be sold in Spain.
CONCLUSION
It's a real shame that Skoda will only sell the car in Spain. This factory-tuned Fabia - both in terms of appearance and technology - would definitely go well in other European countries. Moreover, there is no RS-model from the current generation of the model (yet). Let's hope that Skoda will show leniency and at least one will appear now.
