Alfa's smallest SUV - now with 4x4 (VIDEO)
We present you the new model of Alfa Romeo, called Junior Ibrida Q4, the version of the compact SUV with four-wheel drive. On board works an old acquaintance – the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder gasoline turbo unit, with variable turbine geometry, which is familiar to us from the Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida, with 136 hp. An additional electric motor with 29 hp and 88 Nm of torque is mounted on the rear axle. It draws energy from the 48-volt battery, which is also available in the conventional Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida, with which here, however, we already have four-wheel drive magazin de piese auto online.

Naturally, this comes at a price: we have a limited volume double floor in the trunk, and under it are the additional electric motor, gearbox, and transmission around the rear axle.
Using the drive mode selector, you can choose exactly how the four-wheel drive works. First, we have the Q4 mode, in which the system works to the maximum extent, up to 30 km/h the rear axle is constantly active, and at higher speeds it is automatically switched on as soon as the front wheels start to lose traction. The next mode is called Dynamic, here the 4x4 drive is used mainly for Boost. That is, whenever you are driving sporty, and the front axle cannot provide the necessary traction. The third mode is Neutral. In this mode, the all-wheel drive system is always used when the electronic management considers it necessary. The mode, called Advanced Efficiency, strives for maximum efficiency. In this case, the all-wheel drive is used only when it is actually necessary, the goal being to save fuel as much as possible, and the air conditioning system then also automatically switches to ecological mode.
We often like to complain about SUVs that don't have all-wheel drive. So kudos to the folks at Alfa who have actually managed to give even their smallest SUV a 4x4. OK, the system works in a limited range up to a maximum of 90 km/h. But once you've reached that speed, it won't be a problem to manage with just the front-wheel drive. The 48-volt electric 4x4 really works.
