Leapmotor officially announced that it has produced its one millionth electric vehicle, becoming the second startup player in the Chinese automotive industry to pass this milestone. With over 320,000 deliveries in the first eight months of 2025 alone, Leapmotor continues to be a leader among new Chinese electric vehicle brands, and has been the top seller in its segment for six consecutive months. At the same time, it will be included in the Fortune China 500, China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises and China’s Top 500 Manufacturers for 2025. Its recognitions in various fields – R&D, market performance, management and operations – confirm Leapmotor’s capabilities as an already established, large company.
Leapmotor has reached one million electric vehicles produced on the path of sustainable development: building a solid foundation and accelerating upgrading. At the ceremony to mark the achievement, Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman and CEO of the company, said: “It took us five years to go from the first Leapmotor to the 500,000th. Now, less than a year later, we have already celebrated the one millionth. This is a clear sign that the pace of our development is accelerating. We believe that next year we will be able to celebrate our next million cars.”
At the same time, Leapmotor has significantly expanded its portfolio. Focusing on consumer value, the company has introduced four product series – A, B, C and D, including both SUV and MPV vehicles. Its flagship models impress with their innovations and create a powerful market effect: the delivery volume of the C10 has already exceeded 160,000 vehicles, and the total sales of the B10, which debuted in April, have already exceeded 60,000 units.
At the Munich show last month, Leapmotor unveiled its new B05 model, which stood out with its design, pro-European-style handling and leading-edge technologies. Expectations are high for this car to establish itself as the first choice of the young audience for urban mobility. The B05 will be launched in China in the last quarter of the year and will enter the global market in 2026.
