From seat springs to Aito
Aito is a young brand – it was founded in 2021 by the Chinese concern Seres Group in collaboration with Huawei. Seres Group has been around since 1986, when the company (under a different name) produced car seat suspension systems. The collaboration has so far resulted in three models, and the Aito 7 enters its second generation in the 2026 model year magazin de piese auto online.

The Chinese company is particularly proud of its MF platform, which is compatible with battery electric, range-extending or hybrid powertrains and can be adapted to different vehicle sizes. The name Aito means “Adding intelligence to the car” – which clearly shows that software and infotainment are top priorities, as is common for many Chinese manufacturers.
Serious and straightforward
With a length of just over five meters, the Aito 7 is a classic SUV. The Chinese manufacturer has chosen a restrained body design. The narrow headlights at the front go deep into the fenders, with a light strip extending between them at the same height, interrupted by the Aito logo. A continuous light strip is also present at the rear. The door handles are partially hidden in the body. A chrome decorative strip runs along the side windows. On top, black roof rails add a sense of functionality. The Aito 7 is also available with a panoramic glass roof. Paint options include black, white, gray and dark blue.
Dimensions:
Length: 5020 mm
Width: 1945 mm
Height: 1760 mm
Wheelbase: 2820 mm
Trunk volume: 686-1619 l
Diverse drives thanks to a flexible platform
The MF platform from Seres Group (the company behind the Aito brand) is compatible with a variety of powertrains and can be configured as a battery electric vehicle, a range extender, or a hybrid. The manufacturer has not yet provided specific power figures.
What Aito 7 offers inside
The Aito 7 boasts ample space and generous legroom. All seats can be folded down to create a flat sleeping surface, ideal for campers. The Aito 7 also features a panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, soft-closing doors and automatically deployable steps.
Above the center console is a large monitor of the infotainment system. The driver can monitor the speed and other information via a second screen behind the steering wheel or via a Head-up display. The interior is available in ochre, beige or “camel” color – a slightly darker beige. Aito offers 7 with five or six seats.
In China, prices start at around €33,800. That's the price of the hybrid version. With customs duties, the price in Europe is likely to be significantly higher.
