Hyundai i30 as a used car: be careful with this model
Although Hyundai's compact car is a serious alternative to the Golf, the technical inspection results for the older generations are quite sobering. Here's an overview from the latest TÜV report magazin de piese auto online.

The compact Hyundai i30 is considered a perfect example of smart mobility. However, over the years, the Korean car has become a problem case.
Hyundai i30 (Type PD)
production period: 2017 to present
engines: 95 hp (1.6 CRDi) up to 280 hp (N Performance)
Used prices: from 8500 euros
This is: developed in Rüsselsheim, produced in the Czech Republic. It is now four centimeters longer, but also lower. Many driver assistance systems are standard. It is only available with five doors, as a hatchback, station wagon and fastback sedan with a large tailgate. Facelift in 2020.
This can: boast improved handling. A wide range of engines: from the one-liter to the 2.0-liter turbo with 280 hp in N Performance. Dual-clutch automatic transmission available as an option, stiff suspension.
This creates annoyances: service actions due to potential damage to the brake servo and seat belt tensioners, as well as loss of pressure in the dual-clutch transmission.
The new PD's suspension is firmer than its predecessors. Defective exhaust systems are a weak point of the new i30.
