Hyundai Ioniq 6 N makes dynamic debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Designed to excite driving enthusiasts, the IONIQ 6 N introduces innovations in suspension geometry, sound experience and drift control – demonstrating the next level of N brand performance:

Completely revised suspension geometry: The IONIQ 6 N takes advantage of its low ground clearance (due to the sedan silhouette) with individually designed suspension geometry. Improving dynamic capabilities over the IONIQ 5 N, the revised geometry includes a lower roll center, resulting in improved center-axis feel, better steering feedback and self-positioning. New Electronically Controlled Shock Absorbers (ECS) promise a new level of driver confidence, providing a refined balance between comfort and precise handling.

Innovative N e-shift / N Active Sound + system: Building on the success of the IONIQ 5 N, the new IONIQ 6 N enhances the experience with advanced N e-shift technology – now available in all driving modes and offering motorsport-inspired gear changes. For even greater immersion in the dynamics, the new “N Ambient Shift Light” feature visually marks the exact moment to change gears, ensuring optimal performance.

Enhanced N Drift Optimizer: Drivers can now customize the drift function with a wider range of options, allowing for individual control according to their drifting skill level. This enhanced feature highlights the IONIQ 6 N’s commitment to delivering an interactive driving experience, enhanced by the seamless implementation of advanced electronic technologies.

Cinematic teaser and Goodwood debut

Hyundai has also released the first teaser video of the IONIQ 6 N, providing a spectacular cinematic look at the car's dynamic silhouette on the track.

Recently released preview images show the profile of a dynamic sedan designed for high-speed stability through intensive aerodynamic development. Bulging fenders, a wider stance, lightweight wheels and a motorsport-inspired swan-neck rear spoiler underline the IONIQ 6 N's focus on aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic capabilities.

The IONIQ 6 N will make its public debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where Hyundai N will showcase its full line-up of high-performance models on a dedicated brand stand. Visitors will be able to take part in interactive activities including racing simulators and photo booths. Anyone who completes all the challenges on the stand will receive exclusive access to the N grandstand with a spectacular view of the legendary hillclimb.

Rewrites the rules for high-performance electric vehicles

The IONIQ 6 N embodies Hyundai's relentless commitment to innovation, building on the award-winning IONIQ 5 N. This high-performance sedan will shake up the electric vehicle segment, offering an exhilarating driving experience based on the core pillars of N performance: 'Corner Rascal', 'Racetrack Capability' and 'Everyday Sports Car'.

“The IONIQ 6 N is designed to deliver the most engaging driving experience possible for an electric vehicle,” said Jun Park, Vice President and Head of N Management Group. “The Hyundai N will once again shake up the electric vehicle segment, not with exciting numbers, but by demonstrating how fun the electric driving experience can be.”
