Luxury Chinese brands OMODA and JAECOO enter the Bulgarian market
One of the most polar Chinese automobile manufacturers, Ghery Automotive, will enter the Bulgarian market in early December with the luxury brands OMODA and JAECOO piese auto online.

The Jaecoo and Omoda models will be imported to Bulgaria by the Hungarian Genius Automotive Europe. Genius already sells both brands in Hungary, started distribution in Romania a month ago, and is set to launch in Bulgaria on December 3. Distribution in several other countries in the region is set to begin at a later stage.
The two brands were created primarily for the European market, tailored to the preferences and attitudes of the European consumer. Our media was among the first to test the cars of the new brands in the vicinity of Bucharest. In Romania, their launch is already a fact and the first buyers are already enjoying the new Chinese luxury.
OMODA is the more expensive brand, with an idea of higher quality materials for the interior, while JAECOO is a more adventurous car aimed at younger consumers. The name JAECOO is a combination of the German word “Jäger” (hunter) and the English “Cool”.
The manufacturer provides a warranty of 7 years or 150,000 thousand kilometers and 8 years on the battery and electric motors for the electrified versions.

The cars use common Ghery Automotive platforms. For example, SHS (Super Hybrid System) – a common architecture for plug-in hybrids developed by the group, offering peak dynamics, extended electric range and energy efficiency.
Some models feature the Snapdragon Cockpit platform, which enables advanced graphics, built-in AI features, voice assistant features, and OTA updates. Both brands are packed with up-to-date versions of driving aids.
In this dynamic market, we are targeting customers who are looking for not only high quality of the car at a competitive price, but also a driving experience and pleasure, things that OMODA and JAECOO offer in abundance, Tiberiu Ioanovici, General Manager for Romania and Bulgaria, Genius Automotive Europe, shared with Auto Bild Bulgaria.
