Nikola Tsolov with a phenomenal performance in his first Formula 2 start

Nikola Tsolov made an impressive debut in his first Formula 2 start at the Qatar race. After setting a 7th time in qualifying yesterday, the Bulgarian Lion started 4th on the inverted grid. After a brilliant start, Tsolov managed to snatch third position from Rafael Viagomes behind him, maintaining a comfortable distance in front of him almost until the finish magazin de piese auto online.

Viagomes tried to regain the position on lap 4, but his attempt was unsuccessful. On lap 14 of 23, James Wharton went out after a collision with his Trident teammate Van Hoepen. This forced the safety car to come out – and the drivers at the back of the field came in to change from hard to soft tires. As the field gathered, Sebastian Montoya launched a series of attacks on Viagomes, which turned out to be a welcome development for Tsolov – because our boy managed to build up a solid lead for third position.

On lap 20, Shields went off the track – and this forced the safety car, which had been leading the line for two laps, to come out again. So the race was restarted on the last lap. After the restart, Viagomes caught up with Nikola and attacked him – pushing Tsolov off the track and our boy fell to tenth place, where he eventually finished. The stewards will investigate the incident – and we await their opinion.

And despite this note of disappointment, the performance of the Bulgarian Lion was phenomenal in all respects – and he deserves the full support of his fans.
