Retrospect: The "Car made in Bulgaria" project enters a decisive phase
What Bulgaria wrote 20 years ag piese auto online.

We thank everyone who responded to the call in the November issue of Auto Bild, sharing their opinion and assessment of the three concepts for a future Bulgarian car. The development of the project is progressing at a rapid pace and is confidently moving towards the implementation of a full-size model on a 1:1 scale. We would be happy if we continued to receive your letters with assessments of the three projects to the editorial office's email and postal address over the next two weeks. Your assessments will be of particularly valuable assistance in choosing the final winner in mid-January.
Among all those who participated with an opinion or assessment of the three prototypes, a draw will be made to distribute three exclusive prizes. Thanks to Prof. Harald Leschke, head of the Avant-garde Design department at DaimlerChrysler, who is one of the main factors behind the unique Maybach Exelero and one of the initiators of the “Car made in Bulgaria” project, two of them are related to the record-breaking car – a Maybach Exelero model, made by Schuco in 1:43 scale and a special luxury edition entitled “Das Projekt”, on whose 264 pages the entire development of the Exelero project is traced in detail and high-quality color illustrations. Both prizes are of invaluable collector's value, as they are part of limited series of 5,000 copies. For now, we will allow ourselves to keep the third, grand prize, which will be provided by “Balkan Star” – general representative of Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Mitsubishi for Bulgaria, a secret.
