Ford Kuga (III)
Error rate after 2-3 years: 9.0% (Ø 6.4%).
The Ford Kuga has a wide range of weak points. Whether it's leaking shock absorbers, broken springs, oil leaks, emissions test issues or corroded exhaust systems - the Kuga's defect rate is significantly higher than the average for other cars tested.
Defective daytime running lights or malfunctioning fog lights have also been reported, and rusty or worn brake discs are increasingly a thorn in the side of testers. The third-generation Kuga inherits many of these problem areas from its predecessor, but some are new, such as vulnerable springs and shock absorbers, or emissions test issues.
