Test: BMW iX is an excellent car for a long journey
The iX was remarkably quiet during our first test, even at high speeds. Tricks like foam in the inner part of the tires helped. The air suspension on the iX xDrive50 we tested worked very smoothly compresor supraalimentare bts turbo pret.

The power delivery is impressive. The large number of Newton meters is always available. The SUV weighing almost 2.6 tons accelerates calmly but unwaveringly. In addition, the electronics regulate the power distribution between the front and rear electric motors almost telepathically. This type of all-wheel drive is just the right thing to send these 765 Newton meters to the road.
Easy handling and low consumption
At the same time, the car is easily dosed, recovering in stages and quite intelligently. Great: by pressing the pedal from coasting mode, the iX shoots forward quite violently. In the relaxed eco mode, the car consumed unexpectedly little: results of less than 25 kWh are possible.
AUTO BILD still failed to find the iX a truly fine BMW driving machine. The steering is too light for its weight class and the feedback is not particularly good. It also requires too much concentration to navigate the huge and heavy car with 22-inch wheels on intercity roads.
Jan Horn's conclusion: Confident, fast and comfortable – a first-class car for a long journey. Its mileage is also suitable.
iX M60 is convincing in the test
The most powerful iX in the test: like the M60, the SUV is powerful, fast, comfortable, spacious and excellently connected. The infotainment system with the very good voice command system impressed us especially. The extremely powerful drive also brought us joy - the dynamic characteristics are superb. Otherwise, its price is quite high.
