The Bulgarian Lion with a victory in Miami!
Nikola Tsolov finished first in the sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix. The Bulgarian lion won the top step of the podium in a tight battle ahead of Dutchman Van Hoopen and Irishman Alex Dunn. Tsolov set off confidently, but Van Houpen was following him closely, less than a second behind. On the 11th lap, the Bulgarian made a mistake, going out through the chicane between turns 14 and 15, but despite this, he did not lose his leading position. On the 13th lap, however, Van Houpen managed to overtake Tsolov and the two began a fierce battle, in which they exchanged positions several times over five laps. From the 18th lap, Nikola took the lead – and did not lose the first position until the last lap, in which Houpen managed to make a successful attack in turn 11. However, our competitor demonstrated a strong mentality and managed to make a counterattack in the last turn – thanks to which he was able to win with a lead of only 0.17 seconds.
