They are putting up stakes against overtaking on another section
On August 30, the installation of flexible limiters-pegs began in a 4-kilometer section of the I-1 Mezdra - Botevgrad road, in the Lyutidol region. The goal is to separate the directions of traffic, limit the possibilities for incorrect overtaking and increase traffic safety. The limiters will be placed in the section from the 177th km, at the junction for the village of Rashkovo, to the 181st km. Activities will be carried out in stages over three days - from August 30 to September 1. During the installation of the limiters, traffic will not be stopped, and will be regulated by signalmen and the "Traffic Police" magazin de piese auto online.

In addition to the stakes that will ensure the physical separation of traffic, it is planned to install additional road signs on the section, signaling the two-way traffic section, the permissible speed limit and the prohibition of overtaking.
The activities will be carried out by the Geo Road Lot 1 Association. The implementation was assigned on August 15 and the company took action in the shortest possible time.
The measures are being taken after an on-site inspection by representatives of the RIA and the Ministry of Interior, as well as upon instructions from the Directorate General of the Ministry of Interior to take additional actions to increase traffic safety along the route.
