Bulgarian Lyuboslav Ruikov recorded his first victory in the Formula 4 rookie class
Bulgarian driver Lyuboslav Ruykov made a successful debut in the first round of the Formula 4 Central Europe, finishing 12th in the final race. Earlier today, Lyubo finished 4th in the third qualifying race and first among the rookies – his first win in Formula 4. And yesterday he recorded 5th place in the first qualifying race magazin de piese auto online.

Today, Ruikov started from 6th position in the final, but his car stalled at the start and he fell behind on the first lap. However, the Bulgarian was able to quickly catch up with the drivers in the top 20, with the differences between them not being large, and he quickly began to climb the rankings.
In the first 7 laps, Ruikov progressed from 22nd to 14th place, but 7 minutes before the finish the race was stopped with a red flag due to an incident.
At the restart, Lyubo immediately overtook Mika Hakkinen's daughter, Ella, and came out 13th, and a few turns later he was already 12th, managing to wedge himself into the group of drivers occupying positions between 8th and 13th.
Then, however, a new incident occurred and two minutes before the finish, the race was again stopped with a red flag, and this time the race director decided not to restart it.
Ruikov had no problems with pace in his first Formula 4 racing weekend - a 5th and a 4th place in the two qualifying races, first place among the debutants in the second race, and today in the final he demonstrated pace like the pilots around him on the starting grid, who were fighting for podium places and for victory.
Ruikov will compete in the new season in Formula 4 Italy, using the race weekend at the Red Bull Ring to gain experience.
