VW is developing the new Amarok – without Ford
The second-generation Amarok will be available in Europe from 2023 in collaboration with Ford. South America, however, will get a standalone model developed solely by VW semnalizare tyc pret stanga si dreapta.

VW is working on a successor to the Amarok. The new model is expected to be on the market in 2027. But not in Europe. The new pickup is being developed specifically for South America. With the announcement of the new generation of the pickup, VW has published a sketch that aims to show how the car will look in the future. At first glance, it is clear: the basic design, familiar to us from VW, has been retained.
Futuristic light signature
The design looks much more futuristic and aggressive than the current Amarok. The new light signature immediately catches the eye. VW plans to use impressive LED strips for the Amarok successor in South America.
They surround the logo on the front and appear to be placed on a lighter material. For this reason, the LED strips appear even wider and create the impression of a full-width strip interrupted by the logo. The emblem itself does not appear illuminated.
Above it you can see two narrow LED strips, about as long as the main headlights of the older versions. Moreover, they are mounted on a lighter decorative strip that extends across the entire width of the front. The main headlights are apparently hidden in rather deep, rectangular recesses below the two light strips.
With unpainted armor
Between them, the grille is visible. Closed by two wide dark stripes. The bumper does not appear to be painted. The front hood has impressive protrusions that extend along its entire length. This detail will probably not make it to the production version. There are protective skins all over the body, and the classic door handles emphasize the design of the light commercial vehicle.
VW has not yet released any technical information about the new Amarok, but we assume that the South American model will continue to have a classic frame and be powered by conventional internal combustion engines.
