Suzuki GSX-R celebrates its 40th anniversary

In 2025, the GSX-R series celebrates its 40th anniversary since the launch of the first generation GSX-R750 in 1985. To date, the series has a cumulative production of over 1.2 million units (includes the GSX-R1100/1000/760/600/150/125 models).

It has also achieved numerous racing victories, including 20 FIM Endurance World Championship titles, as well as successes in the World Superbike Championship and the Japanese Road Racing Championship.

For this model update, SUZUKI has achieved further evolution by completely revising the internal engine components and equipping with the latest electronic control systems, as well as a lithium-ion battery manufactured by ELIIY Power, which is lightweight, compact, extremely reliable and has a wide range of thermal properties, all of which meets strict emissions and noise regulations without compromising the high performance expected of the "King of Sportbikes".
