What are the three most important electric vehicles of 2025?

The BMW Neue Klasse X – that is, the new iX3 – is scheduled to be delivered to the first customers at the end of 2025. There are no official images of the model yet – we have only seen the concept. However, it clearly shows that the design of the SUV is strongly based on the design of the Neue Klasse sedan!

The important thing besides the design is, of course, the drivetrain. The SUV is an electric vehicle. In terms of power and battery, it is known that the Neue Klasse X will have 800-volt technology, which will allow charging for a range of 300 kilometers in just ten minutes.

Mercedes-Benz CLA

The new CLA will not be just another electric car from Mercedes, it will mark the beginning of a new era. The CLA will be the brand's future entry-level electric model and will boast impressive power: a range of up to 750 kilometers is expected, and the battery will be able to charge up to 400 kilometers in just 15 minutes.

The electric CLA will be available with two engines – with a power of 272 or 354 hp. The maximum speed will be over 160 km/h, even in the basic configuration. As good as this sounds, there is a drawback: the base price of just under 85,000 BGN (that's how much the current CLA costs) will remain in history. The new electric version will certainly cost over 100,000 BGN.

Renault 4 E-Tech

The new Renault 4 E-Tech has now been presented! The concept is familiar from the electric R5: the revival of the name of a popular classic. The big difference with many other brands that have also breathed new life into a historic name: the basic idea of the original model remains! The new R5 is now a small car with many similarities to the original – and Renault is doing the same with the R4.

This way, small models can quickly become favorites of the public. And like the R5, the R4 should remain affordable in terms of price. Its base price will be under 60,000 leva. Production of the retro model has already started in March 2025.
