In the latest ADAC car cost check, Dacia absolutely blows away the competition – and with all its current models, winning first place in every class it's represented in. And it even offers an SUV that will cost you as much as a subcompact car.

In its analysis, ADAC looks not only at the purchase price, but also at the cost per kilometer. Factors included in the organization's calculations include depreciation, fuel and electricity costs, maintenance and servicing, insurance and taxes.

The calculations were based on a mileage of 75,000 kilometers over five years. And the result is a huge success for Dacia.
