French-based Rumen Antonov, known as the inventor of an automatic transmission, has enjoyed considerable commercial success since the premiere of his Rumen at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The vehicle is assembled practically by hand and in full accordance with the wishes and whims of the customer in the small Antonov factory near the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, with the current production capacity amounting to only 25 units per year. If desired, the two-seater and weighing only 500 kg Rumen can be powered by an engine with a power of 61, 75 or 100 hp, the transmission is the familiar six-speed semi-automatic from Smart, and the standard equipment includes ESP, ABS and air conditioning. The price of the unique vehicle of its kind is quite impressive and also reminds in a way of Bugatti models - depending on their requirements in terms of technical equipment and equipment, those wishing to sit behind the wheel of the Rumen should prepare at least 40,000 euros ...
