The oldest event in the country's retro calendar once again gathered a record number of nearly 300 classic vehicles in the center of Sofia. The celebration, traditionally organized by the Bulgarian Automobile Club "Retro", was held for the 35th time, and in the last few years, instead of the usual place around the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the participants have now lined up at "Knyaz Alexander I" Square piese auto online.

The atmosphere is, as always, very positive, and to a large extent,
New additions of classic cars and motorcycles contribute, which annually join the well-known specimens owned by famous club members.
Among the most interesting debuts in 2025 was the oldest participant in the event, produced nearly a century ago – a 1927 Ford Model T Coupe with a 2.9-liter engine with a power of 20 hp. It is part of the collection of Georgi Stoilov, owner of the company "Inter Classic Cars" EOOD, which also showed the public an interesting racing version of the Volvo PV444 Sport from 1961. This is one of the late representatives of the model, whose industrial career ended in 1965 after two decades of production.
Among the more interesting cars, which were included for the first time, were a spectacular Mercedes-Benz C107 rally car, which gained world fame with the victories of Björn Waldegard, a perfectly restored Fiat 127 from 1972 of Ivelin Marinov, as well as the Pontiac Grand Prix from 1966 of Ivaylo Zafirov, the ZAZ-965A from 1968 of Georgi Danev, the Zastava 750LE from 1979 and many others.
Among the well-known participants were the famous 1987 Volga GAZ-24-11 of Slavi Boev, which is perhaps the only one in our country re-equipped with a five-speed gearbox, the Alfa Romeo GTV 6 of Zvezdelin Grozdanov - one of the most famous collectors and connoisseurs of the Italian brand not only in our country but also abroad, the Porsche Speedster Replica of Dimitar Dimitrov, the attractive racing Škoda 1000 MB, whose original 1000-cubic engine was replaced with one from Subaru, as well as some of the most interesting specimens from the collection of the Zlaten Rozhen Automobile Museum, including the Mercedes-Benz 280SL "Pagoda".
As of this year, BAC "Retro" has a new chairman in the person of Georgi Georgiev.
